                      Planting our Ministry

Welcome to Daily Christian Ministries! I'm Pastor Bill and today we're going to do something different. Today, we are going to begin planting our ministry, together. So, What does this mean? God has laid this on my heart and it won't happen overnight, I know this. I have been praying and asking God what He wants me to do. Where I should go, from here. I have tried to help in the local church, which didn't seem to work out like I'd dreamed. Of course, I will continue to help the community, as I can, but God wasn't opening those doors for me like I thought. Even though other people tried to help me and push me in directions that they thought I could be used, I felt in my Spirit that it wasn't the right path. I did, however, learn from it and I'm thankful for the opportunities. You see, I was trying to do things “my way” and it wasn't working. God reminded me that it should be His way and not my own. I spent 22 days at camp asking God to help me. Giving Him time and waiting on His answer. I know, without a doubt, I have been called into ministry. At times, I have even questioned whether I am going down the right path, but never gave up the faith. After spending much time with God and asking for His guidance, He finally gave me His answer. I just had to wait upon Him.

When God laid this ministry upon my heart, I didn't know where to start. So, I began by starting a facebook group and began posting pictures from time to time and then writing daily thoughts. Over time, the group began to grow. It wasn't fast, at all and I also noticed that if I didn't pay attention to the group, that it would just sit there and the growth would slow considerably. I would ask members to participate, but wouldn't get much response and I was confused. However, I still continued to spread God's Word the best I could. Later, God opened the door for me to become ordained and the fire that had been lit inside me for so long, began to burn much stronger and I began to do more and more. That desire to serve God became much stronger. I began talking with other ministries and formed an alliance with one that taught me so much. Even though we are no longer in alliance, we still continue to talk and I continue to learn from them. I felt in my Spirit that this online ministry was where God wanted me, so I asked Him what He wanted me to name it. He led me to the name, “Daily Christian Ministries”. Why? Because we should be a Christian daily and not only on Sunday. Amen? So, then I got really excited and started a facebook page and designed a website for the ministry. I had already started doing video messages and spending many hours online but then I began to slow down and eventually stopped them. Partly because I was online so much and not giving time to my family, plus this was when I was searching other places to minister. I was thinking it would be better to help others face to face instead of online. So things just stopped for a while. I also enrolled in a Bible College/Seminary to get more training, which I am currently attending. I then started noticing that the group and page was continuing to grow, even though I wasn't posting anything. I wondered “why?”. If I wasn't “watering” the seeds I planted, how could they grow? God showed me that the internet is a powerful tool. It allows our ministry to reach the world but He also showed me that the messages are continuously seen, which will keep watering those seeds, allowing it to slowly grow. Wow! Even though I have always said that I wanted to use the internet to reach the world, I didn't look at it in that way. These messages continue to reach others. What a wonderful and blessed revelation!

It was laid on my heart, a while back, that this online ministry, was, in fact, a ministry to all nations. I didn't really understand the significance of that til now. What makes up a church? The building or the people? It's the people. Our facebook page has now been liked by over 150 people and our group has reached over 820 members, praise God. People from all over this world.

So, What else does it take to be a ministry? This is a question that I have been asking God. Today, He revealed to me that I need to begin planting our ministry deeper and give it a strong foundation. I need to ask for help. Up until now, I have basically been doing this alone. I have worked hard, with God and planted the seeds and started building on this ministry and now I need to trust in others to help build this ministry and spread God's message all over this world using this powerful tool, the internet.

I know there is a lot more that I have to do, but this is the next step. I am asking you to come forward and be a part of our ministy. We need leaders, Elders, teachers. We need help in all areas, to include music. If you are led by God to help, please leave me a message. We will begin planting our ministry together and spreading the Word of God to all nations. I have this strong desire and I know there are people out there that God has placed on their hearts or He wouldn't have told me to do this. You know, God told me that I don't need to be looking other places to minister when He has placed me here. He said He has given me this ministry to reach the world and He told me that many people do not have a church to go to or unable to attend church, for various reasons. This was also confirmed to me in a comment on facebook yesterday. The internet will allow us to reach people from next door to other countries. We have our group, page and website. You can help in one area or many. There is no money involved, no form of income. We give our time and use our gifts that God has given us all and you will be rewarded.

Romans 2:6 tells us, God "will repay each person according to what they have done.”

Job 34:11 says, “He repays everyone for what they have done; he brings on them what their conduct deserves.”

Jeremiah 17:10 tells us, “I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Matthew 16:27 says, “For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.”

Proverbs 24:12 tells us, “If you say, "But we knew nothing about this," does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay everyone according to what they have done?”

If we feel the calling or led to help and we don't, are we not lying to God? Are we not going against His Will in our lives? He knows our heart. Don't lie to God and yourself. Follow God's lead and contact me so we can begin this new journey in life, together, bringing God's children to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. I look forward to hearing from you.
